Ready Concrete Mixer Plants flouting rules

January 24, 2020

Sir,

I am an employee working at a private company on KRS Road, Metagalli. My office is located opposite to Government Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC).

There are two Ready Concrete Mixer Plants operating on the same road. A number of loads of heavy concrete mixers ply on this stretch daily. Half of the road has become unusable for the public because of heaps of concrete droppings, big potholes caused by movement of the heavy mixers and small jelly spilled all over the busy road.

It seems these Plants are not following any of the rules set by the Pollution Control Board. Even the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB) situated very near to the area is also in deep slumber.

I request the officials concerned to take action at least now and help the commuters on this road to have a safe ride.
