Mysuru: CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysuru, in association with Vigyan Prasar and India Science Wire, is organising a one-day symposium on Science Journalism and Science Communication on  Aug. 13 (Tuesday) at CSIR- CFTRI, Mysuru. 

The symposium will have experts from the field of Science Communication and Journalism to discuss issues such as Science Journalism and Science Communication in India, Challenges of Communicating Science in Indian languages and New experiments in Science Communication. 

A Round Table discussion on Science Journalism with a focus on Karnataka will also be held.

Research Fellows, Post-Graduate students in any discipline of Science and Journalism and Mass Communication from Chamarajanagar, Mysuru, Mandya and Kodagu districts may register online at: http://www.cftri.res.in/event.
