Release of Lion cubs for public viewing tomorrow

District Minister S.T. Somashekar will release three Lion cubs for public viewing at Mysuru Zoo tomorrow at 10 am.

Three cubs (2 male and 1 female) were born to Raju and Nirbhaya on Aug. 5, 2022 and kept in observation. As the cubs are five months old, it was decided to leave them for public viewing.

MLA S.A. Ramdas, Zoo Authority of Karnataka (ZAK) Chairman M. Shivakumar, ZAK Member-Secretary B.P. Ravi, ZAK Members Gokul Govardhan and Jyothi Rechanna, Mysuru Zoo Executive Director Ajit Kulkarni and others will be present.
