Mysore/Mysuru: Nrityagiri Academy of Performing Arts and Research Centre, Mysuru, has organised a programme for the release of the book ‘Sri Vidya Visharada Sri Jayachamarajendra Vaggeya Vaibhava Grantha’ authored by Karnataka Kalashri Sangeetha Vidyanidhi Vid. V. Nanjundaswamy at Ramagovinda Rangamandira in Ganabharathi premises, Kuvempunagar here on Apr. 3 at 6.30 pm.
Internationally-acclaimed violin brothers Mysore M. Nagaraj and Dr. Mysore M. Manjunath will release the book. Noopura Kalavidharu Samskruthika Trust Director Prof. K. Ramamurthy Rao will speak about the book. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Pranth Sanghachalak M. Venkataram will preside. Musicologist Vid. V. Nanjundaswamy and JSS Educational Institutions retired Librarian H.S. Umadevi Nanjundaswamy will be present.
Prior to the stage programme, Vid. Sumanth Manjunath, Vid. A. Radhesh and Vid. S. Manjunath will present a violin recital between 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm.
At 7.30 pm, disciples of several Dance Gurus from various Dance Schools from across the city including Vid. Badri Divya Bhushan, Vid. K.R. Vishwa Deep, Vidu. Sindhu, Vidu. Jyothi Hegde, Vidu. Chethana Radhakrishna, Vidu. Anjana Bhushan and Vidu. Varija Nalige will give present Bharatanatyam performances based on Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar’s compositions. For details, call Mob: 94487-70741.
