Mysuru: Karnataka Urdu Academy, Karwan-e-Urdu Adab, Chikmagalur and Faizan-e-Urdu Adab, Mysuru, have jointly organised a function to releasing the book “Rah-e-Sulook” complied by Mohamed Ali from Chikmagalur on Sunday (Dec. 31) at 10.30 am at Kalamandira, Hunsur Road in city. The book will be released by Dr. B. Sheik Ali, former Vice- Chancellor, Mangalore and Goa Universities. Tanveer Sait, Minister for Education, Auqaf and Minorities Development will be the chief guest.  Dr. Syed Khadeer Nazim Sargiro, Academy Chairman, will preside.

Dr. Akheel Ahmed, Mohamed Iqbal Shahbaz, Kerala, Dr. M. Sayeed Ahmed, Hon. Secretary, Farooqia P.U. College, Mysuru, Poet Gowher Tarikervi, Syed Shafi Ahmed, Member, Urdu Academy,  Dr. Ahmed K. Afzal, Consulting Cardiologist, will be the guests of honour. Munir Ahmed Jami will compere. Sufiyana qawwali will be presented by famous Qawwals of Delhi at 3 pm, according to a press release from S. Moinuddin Pasha, Academy Member.
