Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Krishnadhama Chaturmasya Samiti, in association with the District Unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), will be holding a ‘Santara Dharma Sabhe’ (Religious Meet of Seers) at Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram on Nanjangud Road in city at 10 am tomorrow (Sept. 10).
Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, Sri Krishnadhama Chaturmasya Samiti President M.K. Puranik said that more than 35 Seers from different Mutts in Mysuru and surrounding districts are expected to take part in the Meet. The Religious Meet is expected to pass a resolution on pressing the Government for continuation of Anti-Cow Slaughter Act and Anti-Religious, Conversion Act, introduction of a Censor System for Monitoring Serials, Advertisements and Documentaries broadcast on TV channels, OTT platforms and various other issues.
The Meet will also discuss Hindu Festivals and the Indian family system, the challenges faced by Hindu religion, creation of awareness among Hindu Youths, Bala Samskara, Nationality and the like, Puranik said adding that the Meet will also feature Bhajans and a vocal concert.
Samiti Office-bearer Ravi Shastri, VHP office-bearers Jagadish Hebbar, Madhushankar and Savitha Ghatke were present at the press meet.
