December 5, 2022

Mysore/Mysuru: Strongly condemning activist P. Mallesh’s remarks against Brahmin community at a book release event in Mysuru recently, the Intellectual Cell of Mysuru District BJP has demanded an apology from him.

Addressing a press meet here on Wednesday, Cell Convenor S.K. Rajugowda took strong exception to the remarks made by Mallesh against Brahmins and the community in the presence of former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah. Maintaining that many Brahmin community members had worked for the welfare of Dalits, he said that expressing regret is not enough. Mallesh should tender an apology, Rajugowda said adding that the Police should take action against him for disturbing societal harmony by making such derogatory remarks.

Leaders Mayigowda, Rajanna, Ravi, Manjesh and Rajanna were present at the press meet.
