Repair collapsed front portion of Fire Station building

July 27, 2021

Sir,

I wish to request the authorities concerned to expedite the repair of the collapsed front portion of Fire Station building in Saraswathipuram, a heritage structure in existence for more than 70 years.

It is almost two years since the front pillars collapsed. It looks ugly and speaks for our insensitivity in neglecting such heritage constructions when it does not involve huge expenditure to set right this eyesore.

I hope repair works will be taken up immediately.
