Residents’ Welfare Association donates Rs. 2.2 lakh to Mysuru Zoo

Mysore/Mysuru: District Minister S.T. Somashekar handed over a cheque for Rs. 2.2 lakh as donation to Mysuru Zoo recently. 

The donation was made by Sharada Jnanakshi Residents’ Welfare Association, Yesvantpur, Bengaluru. The Minister and Association President Doddarasinakere Prof. Mayappa jointly handed over the cheque to the Zoo Executive Director Ajit M. Kulkarni. With this, the Minister has so far mobilised a donation of Rs. 3.50 crore for the Mysuru Zoo.

DC Abhiram G. Sankar (now transferred as ATI Joint Director), MCC Commissioner Gurudatta Hegde and City BJP President T.S. Srivatsa were present.
