‘Resume works on construction of blocked houses’

MCC orders beneficiaries of houses sanctioned by Rajiv Gandhi Rural Housing Corporation

Mysore/Mysuru: Due to non commencement of works, the Rajiv Gandhi Rural Housing Corporation had blocked houses that were sanctioned by it to the beneficiaries in 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18.

Now the Housing Corporation has allowed the beneficiaries for construction of 2,067 blocked houses, with the Corporation set to release funds at different levels of construction. 

As such, the MCC has asked  the beneficiaries to start commencement of works in respect of blocked houses latest by Mar.14, failing which the MCC will be forced to cancel the allocation made to the beneficiaries.

Likewise, T. Narasipur Town Municipal Council (TMC) too has directed the beneficiaries to commence construction works with regard to 51 blocked houses in T. Narasipur TMC limits that were allotted by Rajiv Gandhi Rural Housing Corporation in 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18, before Mar.14.
