Retd. Education Dept. Superintendent S. Lingaiah passes away

Mysore/Mysuru: S. Lingaiah (84), retired Education Department Superintendent and a resident of KHB Colony in Nanjangud, passed away following age-related ailments at a private hospital in city this morning.

He leaves behind his wife Gowramma, sons KR Hospital Dermatology Department Head Dr. B.L. Nanjundaswamy, Software Engineer B.L. Srikantamurthy, Commercial Tax Department Assistant Commissioner B.L. Keshavamurthy and Horticulture Department Deputy Director B.L. Shivaprasad and a host of relatives and friends.

The body was taken to his native place Bisalavadi village in Chamarajanagar taluk this afternoon and the last rites will be held at the family’s farm land at Bisalavadi village tomorrow (May 10) at 10 am.
