Mysuru: S. Krishnamurthy Anchalkar, retired Assistant Registrar of University of Mysore (UoM) and a resident of V.V. Mohalla 3rd Main, 8th Cross, passed away last evening. He was 89.

He leaves behind wife Nagarathna, brothers S. Keshava Murthy & S. Shankar Rao Anchalkar and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this morning.

Krishnamurthy was the Founder-President of Mysuru District Bhavasar Kshatriya Graduates Association and had served as Secretary of Mysuru Bhavasar Kshatriya Mandali.
