Retired Forest Officer killed in road accident

Hunsur: A retired Forest Officer, who was hit by an unidentified bike when he was on his walk on Monday evening and admitted to a hospital with serious injuries, has breathed his last at the hospital.

The deceased is Radhakrishna (72), who was residing next to the Toll Gate in Hunsur. He leaves behind his wife, a daughter and two sons.

Radhakrishna was walking towards Halagere when an unidentified bike hit him and sped away resulting in Radhakrishna suffering serious injuries. He was rushed to the taluk hospital, where he was provided first-aid and was being rushed to a private hospital in Mysuru when he breathed his last mid way. Hunsur Police are investigating.
