Retired HAL Research Scientist Dr. N.R. Keshavan passes away

Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. N.R. Keshavan (78), retired Research Scientist and Chief of the Department, Helicopter Division, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bengaluru and a resident of Chamarajapuram, passed away on Feb. 3 in city.

Son of late N.G. Ramakrishna Iyengar, Dr. Keshavan leaves behind his wife Malini, son Chethan and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Kuvempunagar Burial Grounds on Feb. 3.

Profile: Born on Apr. 2, 1945, Dr. Keshavan studied Mechanical Engineering at Malnad College of Engineering at Hassan and obtained M.Sc degree from Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bengaluru.

He received his doctorate in Aeronautical Engineering at England and joined as a Research Scientist at HAL in Bengaluru after his studies.
