Retired Mysore Medical College Professor Dr. C. Rajan passes away

Mysuru: Dr. C. Rajan (72), Retired Professor in Medicine, Mysore Medical College and Research Institute (MMC&RI) and a resident of Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, passed away following prolonged illness at a private hospital in city last night.

Dr. Rajan, who had also served at K.R. Hospital in various capacities for about 30 years, was the former President of Indian Medical Association (IMA), Mysore Branch and member of Mysore Medical College Alumni Association (MAA).

He leaves behind his wife C. Shylaja, son Balachandar, daughter-in-law Manjula Balachandar and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Chirashantidhama in Gokulam here this evening, according to family sources.
