Rev. Fr. Bernard Prakash Barnis as  St. Philos Rector-Manager

Mysuru: Rev. Monsignor Leslie Moras, former Principal and present Rector- Manager of St. Philomena’s Degree College, Bannimantap, has been appointed as Episcopal Vicar for Educational and Medical Ministries in the Diocese of Mysore comprising four districts — Mysuru, Mandya, Kodagu and Chamarajanagar. He will be serving Christian Educational and Medical Institutions in the Diocese.

After his 36-year service at St. Philomena’s, Fr. Leslie Moras will be replaced by Rev. Fr. Bernard Prakash Barnis as the Rector-Manager of St. Philomena’s College. Fr. Bernard Prakash, who was serving as the Vice-Principal of St. Philomena’s for several years, had also served as Parish Priest of Our Lady of the Poor Church, Bannimantap.

Fr. Leslie Moras henceforth will have his residence at Bishop House on B.N. Road. The staff and students will bid farewell to Rev. Fr. Leslie Moras this evening at 6 pm at St. Philomena’s College auditorium.
