Rev. Harry John (87), a native of Anandapura in Kodagu and a  resident of Rajiv Nagar in city, passed away yesterday at his residence.

He leaves behind a son, a daughter, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Rev. Harry John had served as the Pastor of Hardwick Church at Lakshmipuram here for 14 years, Pastor of Anandapura and Polibetta Church for 14 years and also served at  Nanjangud, T. Narasipur and other Churches as a Pastor.

He was also the Founder of Mission to the Blind and had served as the Correspondent of Victoria School in Wesley Church premises.

The body of Rev. Harry John was kept at Hardwick Church, where a prayer was held and the body was donated to JSS Medical College as he had pledged his body 11 years ago.
