Mysore/Mysuru: ‘Ride With Pride for Wide Open World (WOW),’ an event organised by We India Pride Humanitarian Foundation LLP, to create awareness for the growth and involvement of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA+) Community in the society will be held in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple at the North Gate of Mysore Palace tomorrow (Nov. 11) at 11 am.

The awareness ride will be launched by member of the erstwhile Mysore royal family Pramoda Devi Wadiyar

Dr. Anita Prasad said that the Foundation aims to address the challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community and create a safe place where every individual can thrive without fear of discrimination while fostering a culture of inclusivity, creativity, self-reliance and holistic well-being.

India Garage, dealers of Mahindra vehicles will be providing two Mahindra Thar vehicles and one electric vehicle to proceed to Kabini backwaters.  

Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha, MLA T.S. Srivatsa, Mayor Shivakumar, Deputy Mayor Dr. G. Roopa and City Police Commissioner B. Ramesh will be present.
