Rider assaults KSRTC driver following accident

Mysuru: A driver of a KSRTC bus was assaulted by a bike rider and his friends, who held the driver responsible for the accident on B.N. Road near Good Shepherd Convent junction here on June 23.

The KSRTC driver, Suresh, who was driving the bus towards Pandavapura from city, was proceeding near Good Shepherd Convent junction on B.N. Road, when the rider on a Royal Enfield bike came in front of the bus resulting in the bus brushing the bike.

The rider, who stopped the bike, held Suresh responsible for the accident and he, along with his friends, dragged Suresh out of the bus and assaulted him. The rider and his friends also damaged the front glass of the bus, it is learnt. Suresh later lodged a complaint at Lashkar Police Station.
