Rider injured as car rams into bike

Mysuru: A bike rider suffered serious injuries when a speeding car rammed into the bike from behind at Bogadi 2nd Stage last night.

The injured bike rider is 38-year-old Kiran of Kakaravadi here. He has been admitted to a private hospital in city.

Kiran was proceeding on his Hero Honda bike (KA-02-AM-9371) from Bogadi towards city when a speeding Hyundai Verna Kerala registration car (KL-10-AU-691) rammed into the bike from behind resulting in Kiran suffering serious injuries.

After ramming into the bike, the car hit a dog and a Tata Indica car (KA-02-AD-9003) and a Maruti Omni van (KA-01-4903), which were parked on the roadside.

Kuvempunagar Traffic Police have registered a case in this regard.
