Rider killed after falling from bike

Mysore/Mysuru: A two-wheeler rider, who had sustained serious injuries after falling from the bike at Giriyabhovipalya Gate junction and admitted to a private hospital, has succumbed to injuries.

The deceased is 45-year-old Shekar, a resident of K.N. Pura here.

On Jan. 16 at about 2.10 pm, Shekar, who was proceeding on his bike, lost control of the vehicle and fell down resulting in him sustaining serious injuries.

Though he was admitted to a private hospital in city, Shekar succumbed to injuries at about 7.30 pm at the hospital on the same day.

A case has been registered at Siddarthanagar Traffic Police Station.
