Rider killed as car rams into bike

Mysore/Mysuru: A two-wheeler rider, who had sustained serious injuries after a car rammed into his bike on Vayu Vihar Road-Male Mahadeshwara Road Junction and admitted to a private hospital has succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

The deceased has been identified as M. Nagesh (23), a resident of Sindenahalli village in H.D. Kote taluk. On July 13 at about 10 pm, Nagesh was proceeding on his Bajaj Pulsar bike (KA-41-EL-7229) from Yeraganahalli Circle side towards Nazarbad, when a speeding car (KA-09-MG-2841), driven by one Harpreeth Singh, which came from Nazarbad side, rammed into the bike at Male Mahadeshwara Road-Vayu Vihar Road Junction resulting in Nagesh sustaining serious injuries. Though Nagesh was admitted to a private hospital, he succumbed to injuries at about 10.50 pm.

Siddarthanagar Traffic Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
