Rider killed as goods auto hits bike

Mysore/Mysuru: A two-wheeler rider was killed on the spot when a goods auto hit his scooter near Bhugathagalli on Bannur Road at about 9 pm on Sept. 1.

The deceased has been identified as Kumar (28), a resident of Kempisiddanahundi in Nanjangud taluk, who was working as a labourer in Bengaluru.

Kumar was proceeding on his Suzuki Access scooter (KA-55-EB-6071) on Bannur Road at about 9 pm, when the goods auto (KA-11-B-5043), which came from the opposite direction, hit the scooter, killing Kumar on the spot.

A case has been registered at Mysuru South Police Station.
