Mysuru: A scooterist was killed on the spot when a Kerala State Transport Corporation bus rammed into the scooter he was riding near the turning of Traffic Park in Ittegegud on Monday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Bhaskar (19), an employee of a private hotel in city and a resident of Gerdhala, Bherya hobli in K.R. Nagar.

Bhaskar was proceeding from Nazarbad towards Traffic Park side, when the bus rammed into his scooter from behind resulting in Bhaskar falling down and the rear wheel of the bus running over his head killing him on the spot, according to Siddarthanagar Traffic Inspector Muniyappa, who has registered a case.
