Rider killed in bike-auto collision

Mysuru:  In a tragic incident, a two-wheeler rider was killed on the spot, when an autorickshaw collided with his two-wheeler on which he was riding near NIE College on Manandawadi Road here on Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as K. Parashivamurthy (55), an employee of Bengaluru PF office and a resident of Srinagar in city. Parashivamurthy, who had taken leave from work on Friday, had come to the city and had been to the PF office in city to meet his colleagues. He was returning home at about 8.30 pm via Manandawadi Road when the accident took place. Parashivamurthy, who suffered serious head injuries died on the spot.

Lakshmipuram Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
