Mysore/Mysuru: A two-wheeler rider was killed on the spot and two pillion riders sustained injuries when the bike on which they were riding crashed into the iron grills on M.G. Road near Radisson Blu Hotel yesterday midnight.

While the deceased has been identified as Rishikesh (22), the injured are Ganesh and Rakesh, who are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in city.

The trio were triple riding on the KTM Duke bike (KA-06-HM-7567) from Race Course side and when they were entering the M.G. Road, Rishikesh, who was riding the bike, lost control and crashed the bike into the iron grills near Radisson Blu Hotel. Rishikesh, who sustained serious head injuries, died on the spot and two others sustained injuries.

Siddartha Traffic Inspector Yogesh and staff, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar and have registered a case.
