Rider sustains serious injuries after Govt. vehicle on CM’s duty hits bike

Mysore/Mysuru: A bike rider was seriously injured after a Government vehicle of an official, which was proceeding to Kabini for CM’s bagina event rammed into the bike near Kolagala village on the way to H.D. Kote yesterday.

The seriously injured bike rider, who is said to be in a critical stage at a private hospital here, is 40-year-old Mahesh, a security guard at a Bank and a resident of Janata Nagar in city.

Mahesh, who had gone to H.D. Kote on some work, was returning to Mysuru on his bike (KA-09-HX-6133) when the speeding Government vehicle (KA-01-G-1938), carrying the Government official to the CM’s programme rammed into the bike resulting in Mahesh sustaining serious injuries.

Meanwhile, Mahesh’s family members, speaking to Star of Mysore said that he (Mahesh) has been admitted to a private hospital in city and is in a critical state.
