RK Ashrama’s ‘Swachha Mysuru – Swastha Jeevana’ drive

5th week of 40-week public awareness prog.

 The 5th week ‘Swachha Mysuru – Swastha Jeevana’ programme, which was launched by Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama for 40 weeks to bring public awareness about cleanliness and environmental protection, was held on Sunday in 7 different locations of Jayalakshmipuram. Swami Atmajnanandaji, Adhyaksha, Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru and Vasu, MLA, inaugurated the campaign. D. Madegowda, ex-MLC, Bhagyavathi, local Corporator, Subramanya, Modamani, R. Ravindra, Yogananda, D.N. Mohan,  Kariappa and others participated in the awareness drive.

About 250 committed volunteers, 50 Seva Dal school students and teachers participated in the cleaning campaign. A brochure on ‘Swachha Mysuru – Swastha Jeevana’ was distributed to houses in the locality.
