Mysore/Mysuru: City’s Rural Literacy and Health Programme (RLHP) organisation yesterday distributed grocery kits, face masks and sanitisers to the children living in slums. 

The grocery kits and other items were distributed by District Child Protection Officer Dr. Diwakar to more than 30 children at a programme organised by RLHP Child Helpline-1098. 

Each grocery kit consisted of rice, dal, cooking oil, rava, soap, toothpaste, sambar powder, tea powder, sugar, turmeric powder, salt and other essential items.

RLHP Director Saraswathi and others were present at the event.
