Road humps needed at vulnerable junctions

September 19, 2022

Sir,

The above photo is that of a junction at Nandini Circle in Dattagalli leading to Triveni Mall junction. At both these junctions, minor accidents were common before the stretch was asphalted.

Till recently, umpteen number of potholes inconvenienced the road-users forcing them to drive carefully. Now that the roads are widened and asphalted from Triveni Junction to Nandini Circle Junction, all drivers, ignorant of traffic sense, drive at very high speed. Such junctions urgently need metallic scientific humps to put a brake on violators.

On behalf of the motorists, I request the Traffic Police authorities to install scientific metallic humps on either side of Triveni Junction and Nandini Junction which are the most vulnerable spots for possible accidents. Hope the City Police Commissioner will also look into it.
