Robbers steal Rs.3.42 lakh cash from garments shop

Mysuru: Miscreants, who entered a garments store on D. Devaraj Urs Road on Sunday night, have decamped with about Rs.3.42 lakh cash kept in the locker of the shop.

The miscreants, who gained entry into the Show Off garments shop by removing the sheet of the roof on the third floor and by removing the glass of a toilet ventilator, broke open the locker kept at the shop and have decamped with Rs.3,42,130 cash.

The miscreants are said to have taken the locker to the terrace and have broke open the locker using a weapon. In order to leave no clues behind, the miscreants have also stolen the CCTV DVR.

Based on the complaint given by Assistant Manager Santosh, Devaraja Police have registered a case and are investigating.
