Connecting Global Mysureans for Good Cause

Mysore/Mysuru: Rotary e-Club of Mysuru Centre, a new club has been formed under Rotary District 3181.

The newly initiated e-Club has members from across the globe and connects many Mysureans who are settled in different parts of the world with deep love and compassion for their city and community.

Addressing media persons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan here on Wednesday, Rtn. B.C. Shadakshari Swamy, President of Rotary e-Club of Mysuru Centre, said “We are a global professional team with passion to serve community to change lives. Though our members live 100s and 1000s of miles away, we care for local causes. One thing in common in all of us is that we carry a special love towards our city ‘Mysuru’ and we are committed to working together to bring about a change.”

This is the first e-Club being formed under Rotary District 3181 and has been charted by Rotary Mysore, one of the oldest Clubs in the country, and served community for more than 75 years.  He also mentioned that Rotary e-Club of Mysuru is already working with select schools and supporting during this pandemic situation; similarly it has plans to take up projects in Healthcare, Education and Vocational development and help communities with its unique virtual connect and global presence.

Recently the installation ceremony of this newly formed Club was held with B.C. Shadakshari Swamy as President, M. S. Tejesh Kumar – Secretary, Dr. Karthik Pandit – Treasurer, C.T. Bopanna – Director, Community Services, Jyothi Rachel – Director, Club Services, Prof. Vivekananda – Director, Vocational Services, N. Sudheer – Director, Youth Services, Prabhakar Ashwin – Director, International Service,   M. Mayur – Joint Secretary, Akarsh – Sergeant-at-Arms and Vinod Kumar Jathanna – Membership Chair.
