Mysuru: Rotary Club of Heritage Mysore emerged champions in the Rotary Inter-District Cricket Tournament held in VET College grounds at J.P. Nagar in Bengaluru recently.

A total of eight teams from Rotary Districts 3191, 3192 and 3181 had taken part in the tournament in which Rotary Club of Heritage Mysore emerged champions winning all the five matches they played.

The team was led by Rtn. Naveen under the guidance of Club President Rtn. R. Rajesh.

Rtn. Vinay Kumar of the Club emerged ‘Player of the Series,’ Rtn. Preetham ‘Best Bowler’ and Rtn. Balasubramanya, Rtn. Vinay Kumar, Rtn. Sunil, Rtn. Prithviraj, Rtn. Madhu and Rtn. Preetham won ‘Player of the Match’ awards during the Tournament.

The prizes to winners were distributed by Senior Theatre Person B. Jayashree during the valedictory ceremony.
