Rotary Kadamba Theatre Award presented to H.S. Suresh Babu

Marking   World Theatre Day, Rotary Mysore North and Kadamba Ranga Vedike together had organised a function at Rotary Hall on JLB Road here yesterday.

Rotary Kadamba theatre award for 2017-18 was presented to theatrist H.S. Suresh Babu by R. Paramasivan, winner of Gubbi Veeranna Award.

Suresh Babu, born to Siddappa and Padmavathi of Hemmige Village in Mandya district, formed a theatre group ‘Abhiyenthararu’ in 1993 which has been imparting training to engineering students on theatre.

Assistant Governor Rtn. Yashaswi  Somashekar, Rotary North President Rtn. Mahadevappa, Past President Rtn. Rajashekar Kadamba and others were present.
