Mysore/Mysuru: Rotary Mysore Midtown presented ‘Rotary Mysore Midtown H. Ramachandregowda Memorial Progressive Farmer Award’ to Varsha Srikantaswamy, a progressive farmer from Ummathur in Chamarajanagar district, at a function held at Rotary Centre on JLB Road here recently.

The Award was presented by Akashvani Mysuru Programme Executive N. Keshava Murthy.

Receiving the award, Varsha expressed that the award had increased her responsibility and would also motivate her to help others.

Varsha had received appreciation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ recently. She runs a small scale business named Akruthi Eco-Friendly Enterprises at her native in Ummathur.
