Rotary Midtown’s noble gesture

In a noble gesture, Rotary Mysore Midtown extended help to nine-year-old Samruddi (daughter of Paniraj from Mysuru), who is suffering from cardiac problem, by contributing Rs. 25,000 towards her medical expenses.

A primary ceroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome child, she finds difficulty in breathing due to water collecting in her lungs. Seen in the picture are (standing from left) Rtn. Sathyendra, Rtn. Aiyanna, Rtn. Rakesh, Girish (the child’s uncle) and Rtn. Madhusudhan.

The Club members also helped Ravi, a teacher from Dadadalli, who is immobile, damaging his spinal cord in an accident, by donating him a customised wheel chair from Chennai which can be used for his mobility everywhere. This project was supported by Rtn. Abhilash Nair who contributed Rs. 30,000 and remaining from the Club. The wheel chair was handed over by Vani Venkataram, Educationist and Philanthropist.
