Rotary Panchsheel distributes sewing machines to empower women

Rotary Club Panchsheel Mysore distributed 100 sewing machines to empower women from the lower economic strata at a function held at Coastal Jewel, Bogadi Road in city recently. The project was taken up at a cost of Rs. 3,50,000 under the Club’s women empowerment project and community development. Some of the beneficiaries are seen with City Police Commissioner Ramesh Banoth, Club President Rtn. Rachana Nagesh, chief guest Mallamma Ganigi, ‘Mrs. India Corporate-2023 and Rotarians. Ramesh Banoth was inducted as an Honorary Rotarian of Rotary Panchsheel by Major Donor PHF Rtn. K.N. Suresh Kumar in the presence of Retd. DIG Rtn. Rajendra Prasad, Club President Rtn. Rachana Nagesh and Secretary Rtn. Nagendra at JWGC recently.
