Mysore/Mysuru: Rotary Club of Mysore West (RMW) President Rtn. Reginald Wesley, Dr. Sonia Mandappa and Rtn. Ullas Pandit met Mysuru District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. Venkatesh at his office in Nazarbad yesterday and donated 1,500 cloth masks for ASHA Workers who will be soon deputed to conduct door-to-door survey for identifying and reporting suspected COVID-19 cases in Mysuru district.
The DHO was happy to receive the donation of masks and thanked RMW profusely for making this timely and useful donation of masks which will give ASHA Workers the protection and the confidence to carry out their onerous task. The District ASHA Co-ordinator and Trainer, who was also present, thanked Rotary.
