Rowdy sheeter running gambling dens externed

Mysuru, June 5 – A rowdy sheeter, who was running gambling dens and also disturbing peace in the society has been externed to Hassan district, according to the order  issued by Superintendent of Police Mallikarjun Baladandi.

The rowdy sheeter who has been externed is 47-year-old Madesh alias Deva, a resident of Hadinaaru Mole village in Nanjangud Rural Police limits in the district. Madesh was running gambling dens on the outskirts of various villages and was lending money to gamblers who were pledging their gold and vehicles as a collateral.

There were seven gambling cases registered against him at Nanjangud Rural Police Station. He had paid the fine amount,  abiding by the Court order.

As he is a rowdy sheeter, he has been externed from Mysuru district to Sakaleshpur Police limits in Hassan district for a period of three months, according to a press release.
