Rs. 1.10 lakh stolen from car at Saraswathipuram

Mysore/Mysuru: Thieves have made away with Rs. 1.10 lakh kept in the dashboard of a car at Saraswathipuram in the city.

Harirao Mane, aged 63 years and resident of Vidyaranyapuram here, had kept the cash in the dashboard of his car, after drawing the money from Karnataka Bank, Chamundipuram branch, in city on June 6 at around 11 am.

He had been to Saraswathipuram, where he parked the car in front of a construction firm on fourth cross of the locality at around 11.20 am.

He went to Karnataka Bank, Saraswathipuram branch and returned to his car around 11.45 am, when he found that the glass of the left side window of the car had been broke open   and the cash was missing from the dashboard.

Saraswathipuram Police are investigating the case.
