Rs.2.8 lakh stolen from scooter box

Mysuru: A few miscreants are said to have stolen Rs.2.8 lakh cash kept in the box of a parked scooter in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage here recently.

Padma, wife of Prithvi and a resident of Vijayanagar, was said to have drawn Rs.2.8 lakh from Karnataka Bank and kept it in the box of her Honda Activa Scooter. On the way back home, she reportedly went to a textile shop parking her scooter in front of the shop. On returning from the shop, she found the cash missing from the scooter box.

Vijayanagar Police have registered the case.
