Rs. 20 lakh stolen from house

Hunsur: Miscreants have made away with Rs. 20 lakh cash kept in a bag from the house of contractor Annegowda this morning in Hunsur town.

Annegowda, who withdrew Rs. 20 lakh cash from the bank this morning, came on his bike to his house, kept the cash bag on the sofa and went to freshen up. When he returned after five minutes, he found the cash bag missing. He immediately rushed outside but saw nobody nearby and rushed to Hunsur Town Police Station and lodged a complaint.

SI Shanmugam, who has registered a case, is investigating.
