Rs. 3.50 lakh cash stolen from egg trader’s house

Mysore/Mysuru: An incident of Rs. 3.50 lakh cash being stolen from a trader’s house has been reported from Yaraganahalli in city. The burglary took place at the house of H.A. Shivashankaraiah, an egg trader.

Shivashankaraiah, who had sold his land, had kept Rs. 3.50 lakh cash in the locker of the wardrobe at his house on Apr. 10 and had kept the locker key in the wardrobe.

On Apr. 16, when he opened the locker to take out the cash, he found the cash missing. Suspecting that the house maid may have stolen the cash, Shivashankaraiah has lodged a complaint at Alanahalli Police Station.
