Mysuru, Apr.30- Noted RSS leader of the city Giridhar (Girish) joined the BJP at the party office here yesterday.

Giridhar, who is a well-known face in N.R. Constituency, joined the party in the presence of State BJP Backward Classes Morcha President   B.J. Puttaswamy.

Giridhar, apart from associating with the RSS, had also served in the VHP, Bajarang Dal, Hindu Jagaran Vedike and many other Hindu outfits for about 25 years.

The Founder of Kalyana Venkateshwara Temple located on Dr. Rajkumar Road, he has organised many welfare programmes for the poor and had made it a practise to felicitate Pourakarmikas every year in the Temple premises.
