RT Nagar: Tentative list of allottees published

Mysuru: The long wait for site aspirants of R.T. Nagar finally came to an end, with Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) announcing the provisional list of site allottees this morning.

MUDA Chairman D. Dhruvakumar and Commissioner Dr. M. Mahesh released the provisional list of allottees of total 1,683 sites in RT Nagar (Rabindranath Tagore Nagar) on Ring Road near Dattagalli. The list was announced considering the category, age, seniority and number of application attempts.

Public will be given 10 days’ time to file objections, failing which the provisional list will be finalised. The list will be announced in the notice board at the MUDA office this afternoon. Information will also be available on www.mudamysore.gov.in.

Of the total 1,683 sites, 34 sites have been provided to Backward Community, 110 to Scheduled Tribe, 273 to Scheduled Caste, 130 to Ex-Servicemen, 126 to State Government Employees, 84 to Central Government Employees, 871 for General Category, 50 to ‘H’ Category and 34 to  Physically challenged.

MUDA had received a total of 38,523 applications for R.T. Nagar sites out of which 1,683 have been allotted considering all factors.

Cost fixed: The cost of 20×30 site is Rs. 1,59,000, 30×40 — Rs. 4,46,000, 40×60 — Rs.11,72,000 and 50×80 — Rs. 22,45,000.

MUDA Secretary Savitha, Land Acquisition Officer Indramma and member Shivamallu were present.
