RTE seats: Last date extended till April 10

The last date to apply online for seats under the Right To Education (RTE) Act has been extended till Apr. 10.

Out of nine education zones in the district covering 442 schools, 4,917 seats are available for students under RTE quota which have received 6,279 applications so far. The last date for submitting applications was Mar.31. However, owing to a problem in the server, the applications could not be uploaded at a few places causing concern among parents necessitating the extension of the last date for applying.

The applications can be uploaded at BEO’s office, Atal Jana Snehi Kendra, KarnatakaOne and cyber cafes.
