Students of the Journalism Department, Manasagangothri, won the Overall Runners-up Trophy at the recently held State-level Meet COMMUNIFEST at Sahyadri Arts College, Shivamogga. The students won first place in Panel Discussion, Collage Making, Piece to Camera, Quiz and Photography and Spot Reporting. The winning students — Manosh, Akshatha, Ashika, Manjunath, Chandan and Gowtham — are seen with Dr. M.S. Sapna, Chairman, Dr. Puttaswamy and Prof. B.P. Mahesh Chandra Guru. Overall,  23  Media Colleges both UG and PG participated in the day-long event.
