Running of Mysuru-Mayiladuthurai Special Express for 4 trips in each direction

Mysore/Mysuru: South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to run Train No. 06251/06252 Mysuru – Mayiladuturai – Mysuru Weekly Special Express for 4 trips in each direction.

Accordingly, Train No. 06251 Mysuru – Mayiladuthurai Weekly Special Express will leave Mysuru at 11.45 pm on every Friday with effect from Oct.28 to Nov.18, 2022 (4 trips only) and reach Mayiladuthurai at 03.30 pm the next day. The train will have stoppages at KSR Bengaluru (02:20/02:25 am), Bengaluru Cantonment (02:35/02:37 am), Carmelaram (03:00/03:01 am), Hosur (03:33/03:35 am), Dharmapuri (05:30/05:32 am), Salem (07:35/07:40 am), Namakkal (08:28/08:30 am), Karur (09:13/09:15 am), Tiruchirapalli (12:20/12:40 pm), Tanjavur (01:38/01:40 pm), Papanasam (02:00/02:02 pm) and Kumbakonam (02:13/02:15 pm) Railway Stations.

In the return direction, Train No. 06252 Mayiladuthurai – Mysuru Weekly Special Express will leave Mayiladuthurai at 06.45 pm on every Saturday with effect from Oct. 29 to Nov.19, 2022 (4 trips only) and reach Mysuru at 12 pm the next day. The train will have stoppages at Kumbakonam (07:15/07:17 pm), Papanasam (07:28/07:30 pm), Tanjavur (08:23/08:25 pm), Tiruchirapalli (09:45/10:05 pm), Karur (11:18/11:20 pm), Namakkal (12:08/12:10 am), Salem (03:15/03:20 am), Dharmapuri (05:35/05:37 am), Hosur (07:41/07:43 am), Carmelaram (08:28/08:29 am), Bengaluru Cantonment (09:00/09:02 am) and KSR Bengaluru (09:25/09:30 am) Stations.

The train composition will have fifteen  coaches comprising one AC 2-tier coach, two AC 3-tier coaches, ten Sleeper Coaches and two Luggage-cum-Brake van with disabled friendly compartment, according to a press release from Aneesh Hegde,
