Rural Dasara at K. Hemmanahalli’s Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple

On account of MysuruDasara, the ancient Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple in K. Hemmanahalli has organised a special 8-day free  Yoga camp in the morning (6 am onwards) and singing of drama songs in the evening (5 pm onwards).

In the night, special pujas, decoration and prasada have been arranged. Yoga camp will be held between Oct. 15 (Sunday) and Oct. 22 (Sunday). At the camp, 5 yoga namaskaras — Surya, Ganapathi, Durge, Shiva and Vishnu — as propounded by AdiShankaraBhagavadpaada in his popular panchayathana pujas, will be taught. Also other yogasanas and pranayama for day-to-day practice will also be taught by Yoga teachers P. Ravi-kumar (Mob: 99869-19032) and Shyamala (Mob:99458-61398). In the evening, singing of drama songs have been arranged for the general public. Also folklore songs, Bharatanatyam and other arts can also be performed. For details contact G.
