S. Guruswamy (73), Proprietor of Guru Bangles Store and Vice-President of Sri Kanakagiri Kendagandeshwara Swamy Mutt Trust in Nanjangud, passed away early this morning in the town.

He leaves behind his wife, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Veerashaiva-Lingayat Burial Grounds, next to Hejjige Bridge this afternoon.
